Redskins head Coach Mike Shanahan is still missing a passport and a big chunk of change that disappeared from his team's locker room at Heinz Field in late October, The Washington Post notes . Shanahan lost $3,700 and his passport, which he had left in a briefcase in the locker room while his team was in Pittsburgh to play the Steelers . Pittsburgh police are looking into the matter, at least in part because of the lost passport. As Steelers Depot points out , it's hard to imagine anyone dumb enough to try to pass off Mike Shanahan's passport as their own. (Although it's equally hard to imagine why Shanahan had that much money and his passport just to play a game in Pittsburgh -- was the game on the way to the bank and the airport?) In any case, it's never a good feeling to have something stolen, but my guess is that Shanahan will survive. The 27-12 loss his team suffered to the Steelers that day was probably the greater indignity. ...
