EDC?s Health and Human Development division (HHD) is dedicated to promoting human development across the life cycle. Our work ranges from health promotion and prevention to early intervention and care. HHD develops and tests innovative programs and products for families, schools, health care settings, and community organizations and provides training and technical assistance to a wide range of audiences.

Are you interested in applying implementation and evaluation science to develop innovative projects that contribute to the research and understanding of best practices in areas such as violence and trauma; pathways to healthy adulthood, including sexual and reproductive health; and community public health initiatives? We are actively seeking an Evaluator/ Researcher in Implementation Science with a strong background in online/distance learning reach and impact evaluation. Together with research scientists, e-learning professionals, and project management, the Evaluator/ Researcher:

? Augments HHD?s intellectual capital, while developing greater recognition as a leader in the field

? Is responsible for initiating and executing projects of moderate scope and diversity in the field of expertise and related areas

? Provides analytic, research, and evaluation support involving the planning, gathering, analysis, and reporting of primary and secondary data

? Provides leadership and expertise for surveillance methodologies, design and evaluation of collection protocols, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results and presentation of findings

? Guides program evaluations

? Provides technical assistance to internal staff and external partners around data and surveillance systems, implementation science and program evaluation

? Synthesizes concepts and recommendations

? Writes, reviews and edits plans and complex materials

? Develops high-visibility presentations

? Contributes to conferences and peer-reviewed publications

? Develops original bodies of work

? Investigates solutions to potential problems resulting in products, programs, services or inventions

? Participates in proposal and funding planning

? Conceptualizes or writes major sections of proposals

? May act as Principal Investigator

The Evaluator/ Researcher also

? Develops broad relationships with professional and civic communities; government agencies; and other stakeholders continuously increasing network

? Builds strategic partnerships with other research organizations and university researchers

? Works with senior management and project staff on new concepts, products and/or programs

? Oversees administrative and logistical coordination

? Troubleshoots complex problems and develops solutions

? Initiates and/or works in cross-division/ cross-organization research efforts

? May provide administrative supervision, technical direction, or project management to staff

? May advise on training or design projects

? May design or conduct conferences or workshops
