Chief Operating Officer - Matura Farrington Staffing Services

Well established professional services firm in the Los Angeles, CA seeks Chief Operating Officer to join their dynamic team. Looking for a strategic leader who can oversee all aspects of operations including, Human Resources, Technology, Information Systems, Business Development and more. ?Firm seeks a results oriented professional who can increase revenue and operational efficiency. Future COO/VP will assist in the development of operational planning and oversee financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

??????????? Directs internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the enterprise.

??????????? Participates in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives.

??????????? Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the CEO.

??????????? Insures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.

??????????? Develops and maintains a sound plan of organization.? Establishes policies to insure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession for those functions/business units falling under his/her responsibility.

??????????? Directs the development of personnel policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans.? ??? Establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for recruiting team.

??????????? Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business.

??????????? Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company services.? Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.

??????????? Participate in business development, including participation in obtaining new accounts, recruiting meetings, sales meetings, and more.

??????????? Updates industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • *Bachelor?s Degree preferably in Business or related field. MBA or MPA is highly desired.
  • *Solid work history of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.
  • *Must have prior record of closing contracts and sales numbers in the government sector and private companies.
  • *At least 10 years of experience, with 5 in an executive level position, such as general manager or vice president
  • ?*Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
